ADVENTURERS TENT [REL]

This mod gives you movable camping gear and tent which must be bought from the outfitters in Suran (it's the
door right across from Delisles earthly delights) a new npc will be in the outfitters store, he
has bin allowed to setup a table of camping goods by the local merchant to the left of the door.
inside the shop.talk to him not the outfitter.

this mod includes

tent (new mesh)
gaurskin barriers
camp table (new mesh)
camping stool
camp fire
fur bedroll (by Calishlan download her mod if you want the rest of the bedrolls)
camping cauldron

SANDLES SOLD SEPERATELY
9 different sandles including
3 short strap sandles (white,black,tan)
3 long strap sandles (white,black,tan)
3 imperial sandles (white black,tan)

you may buy the items seperately or in the form of a camping bag which can be opened up, or a gem
with all the items bound into it. The camping bag is heavy and you may want to buy a pack guar or
animal as it ways over 200lbs. The gem only weighs 5lbs but once you unbind the items and drag them
into your inventory the full weight of the items of course is activated.

Thanks to Mighty Joe Young for sending me the stop rain script (I did not put this in yet it as the script just changes the weather to west gash region no rain weather (in other words it would stop raining in the whole region your in not just in the tent). (if you feel this script should be put in let me know if enough people want this I'll offer an alternate version) enjoy

Excellent. Now I can load up the ol' pack guar, lead him out to some remote location, and set up camp. But then I'd have to shoot the guar, and eat him cause well.. I hate leading companions.

oh man,
you forgot something,

why didnt you add an cover for the entrance,
so the tent is closed but not its not an interior cell....

(maybe you didn't check the screenshots it shows an open door) This is purposely an exterior tent, if you want to cover the entrance...
that's what the gaurskin barriers are for, either put three on all sides of the tent awning in front of the door. Or stand just inside of the door in first person look down and drop a gaurskin barrier in front of the door. Then again you could just surround yourself with the barriers as well depends what type of camp you want, or how much time you want to spend setting up camp

Brillant mod but it's missing the bed roll texture, well at least it is in mine everything else works fine though.

Hadn't installed it yet but i had downloaded and your right the bedroll texture is missing, now you can either wait till Dereko fixes it or get my bedroll mod which will add the texture. He seems to have left the bedroll name intact so that should fix it.

Yahoooo! Thanks for this dereko777- I've been waiting ages for a real tent. The only thing I'd like better would be a backpackable smaller version but I'm not complaining! P.S. stopping rain in an entire region just to stop rain inside would IMHO be silly so I'd skip the script.

I would have downloaded this if the tent used an interior cell since I don't like seeing it raining inside my tent. If you did do an interior one you could put a glow map on the inside and outside of the tent and use the script used in the windows glow mod to change between day and night for the glowing.

I understand what your saying, but this was kind of the idea of this mod, to have a shelter and still be outdoors. Personally I've set up permanant tents for myself, but with the dead quiet inside it just didn't seem like I was camping, so I guess this is for the outdoors types or campers to be sure.

I think there is a movable tent with an interior cell that is being worked on, although I don't know what kind of sucess they are having with it.

You could put sound activators in the tent interior which could simulate being outdoors.

I played this mod, went all the way to the ashlands and set up a camp and it was really neat. I found a way to duplicate items though...

Getting a npc companion to lie down is actually easy if you can setup even the most basic dialogue. What you do is just make a couple of topics name them what you want such as "sleep" and "wakeup".

In the results box in the dialogue editor in the sleep topic type in "PlayGroup DeathknockOut" (there are other animations this one was just the most suitable) (this does not kill the npc it just plays the animation and they lie there blinking and alive as if resting) after that It's just a matter of dropping the bedroll on top of them (the game automatically raises them on top of the bedroll (you could put the bedroll down first, but it would take a while hoping the npc falls on it the way you want so it's easier to drop the bedroll after.

To get them to wakeup in the "wakeup" topic you made type in "Playgroup Idle" and they'll standup. These are just commands to play animations that came with the game. (I don't know if I'm the first to implement this particular animation for this purpose) But, this has been done before with other mods to get npcs to dance ect. You can experiment with different animations and multiple animations to get some interesting results.

This is excellent work Dereko. It really adds dimension to the game to be able to camp in the wilds. The tent model is absolutely perfect. I love the sandals!

One small bug I found...The camp bag in its container form has a capacity of weight 200, but the contents that come with the camping set weigh more than 200. So if take something out of the bag and try to put it back in there it won't fit. This was easilly fixed by making the camp bag container weight heavier using the CS.

Anyhow, thats a very minor thing compared to how excellent this mod is.

yes, that was done on the gem purposely as I wanted the only way to put items back in the gem was to reactivate the gem magically and not treat it as a container. I guess I forgot to change this in the camping bag, but you can still put everything back by choosing the "packup" option after clicking on the bag.

The tent bag now holds all the items if you want to manually put them in the bag. (same download)
